New corporate partner: If Insurance
Our family of corporate partners keeps growing! We are very happy and proud to present If Insurance as our new partner at StartupLab.
If Insurance is already familiar with StartupLab, and has been an associated partner of our industry program MobilityLab since the opening in June 2017. Now they are stepping up their game to become a full worthy corporate partner, and will also engage themselves in other activities such as our Data Science Lab.
There are many ways StartupLab helps founders build great tech companies, but few things are as important as market validation. This is why we are working actively with leading Norwegian corporates. We strongly believe that by partnering with established companies, we’ll get them closer to our startups and increase the chances of commercial agreements. Since our first corporate partner joined in 2013, the number of partners has grown steadily, and a number of commercial agreements, pilot projects, corporate investments and other business opportunities have materialized.
If Insurance already work with several startups. They believe in enabling startups by providing relevant insurance and creating solid partnerships founded on mutual respect and willingness to learn and invest. One example of this is their early phase opportunity exploration with Nabobil to learn and take a position in the car sharing platform segment. If firmly believes that change driven by startups is a new constant and sees it as business critical to understand and contribute in this change to stay ahead in their industry.
